The following are a few of the animals C&C has assisted in reuniting with their families!

ADOPTED! This sweet girl was found walking in traffic on Cincinnati/Dayton Rd near Todhunter in Monroe. She was captured by the police & C&C held her while looking for her owner. No one ever claimed her and she was turned over to another rescue.
We think she may have been dumped since she was walking up to each speeding car
as if looking for her family. It turns out she is a purebreed Great Pyrenees.

Daisy is an incredibly sweet, calm, loving and intelligent dog.

Jake went missing from his home on Lebanon St in Monroe one very cold night.
He slipped out the back door after a bath and was not wearing his tags. With several people out canvassing the town, Jake was found safe and sound the next day. He'd ran thru the local park and was picked up for the night. C&C turned him back over to his happy (and relieved) family.

Riley spent 9 days lost in the woods in Monroe. This beautiful Greater Swiss Mountain dog was seen several times the first 4 days she went missing but sadly, could not be caught. Hope was starting to wear thin as the community continued to search and watch for her. She was finally spotted off Cin-Day Rd.

Riley endured bitter cold, winds, snow & ice. She shared the woods with many deer, ground hogs, squirrels and skunks. Coyotes have also been seen in the region. A trip to the vet revealed Riley had lost 20lbs and was quite dehydrated. She also has some cuts to her paws and a bit of frost bite to her ears, not to mention many burrs and of course, she met a skunk along the way! But the vet thinks she will be just fine.

Thanks to all in Monroe who took the time and effort to spread the word and search the surrounding areas.   Welcome home Riley!!

Fluffy was found & reunited with his Monroe family the night before Thanksgiving!!
A neighbor down the street saw this large, sweet 16 old cat and upon hearing his owner was a 16 yr old boy, immediately returned him to the very grateful young man!
A VERY happy ending and our THANKS to the rescuer!

Pogo was found!! A flyer posted at Ameristop in Monroe was seen by his rescuer and within hours, Pogo was reunited with his very relieved owner! This indoor only domestic Rouen duck, will now be supervised during all outdoor pool activities!
